BELLS IN BOYLAND
featuring The Atlanta Concert Ringers
The Cathedral of St. Philip
Saturday, December 10, 2 p.m. & 8 p.m.

December 'tis the season for fine holiday music, and the Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus promises to deliver the most tuneful gifts in town. Partnering with The Atlanta Concert Ringers, the AGMC will ring out the old and sing in the new in this much-loved annual holiday celebration.
Concertgoers will enjoy hearing the stunning Aeolian-Skinner organ at The Cathedral of St. Philip in the program's centerpiece, Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Fantasia on Christmas Carols." Among the other musical offerings this season are "Silver Bells," "Carol of the Bells" and "Judah and His Maccabees" – the most gospel of Hanukkah songs.
And don’t miss what has become another AGMC holiday tradition – the free ice cream social following the Saturday 2 p.m. matinee, sponsored by the Zweifel Law Firm and Peachtree Battle Chiropractic. Join the Atlanta Gay Men's Chorus for what has become a tradition for hundreds of families each year. Be there with bells on!
By long-standing tradition, the AGMC’s first major season performance is the popular annual holiday concert in The Cathedral of St. Philip, the largest Episcopal cathedral in the Southeast and the beautiful venue for the chorus’ holiday “present” to the community for fully half of the AGMC’s existence.
"We’re excited by this, my fifth season with the AGMC, which begins with our wonderful holiday concert at The Cathedral and caps off with our trip to the 2012 GALA Choruses Festival in Denver," stated Artistic Director Kevin Robison. "I am constantly amazed at the hard work and amazing performances produced by this group of talented volunteers, who consistently demonstrate why the AGMC has endured as one of the longest-running and most respected gay choruses in the world. Season 31 promises to be another year filled with music that will entertain, enlighten, and educate all members of our audience."
